He and his brother drove to Atlantic Beach Saturday.Brown is taking a video camera to film what he thinks is the longest-ever unescorted cross-oceanic ride in a flats boat.
Similar stunts may have been done, but not without an escort, he said.
He will contact Guinness World Records when he and his brother return.
Brown wants the world to know what his boats are capable of.
“No one will laugh when we’re finished with this trip,” he said.
