...
I'm still taking it easy this weekend, but in case you do feel like raging, here are some excellent options for your rocking needs.First and foremost, for anyone still reading STLog at 7 p.m.
on a Friday night, you have two hours to get to the Schlafly Tap Room for a ferocious triple bill of rock from B&E, Sex Robots and Left Arm.
It's free, of course.
Apop Records - whose concept I detailed here - is finally holdling its grand opening ceremony tomorrow, Saturday, starting at 2 p.m.
at the store's 2831 Cherokee Street location.
They promise BBQ, satanic face painting, sno-cones and an all-day in-store marathon of bands - including Ghost Ice, Worm Hands, Obelisk and a rare, five-years-in-the-making performance from the Strangulated Beatoffs.
Don't miss this!
Later that night, trek on over to Lemmons, where Bad Folk, the Deserters and the Adversary Workers will be bringing the noise.
The show starts around 9 p.m., as per usual.
Whew.
I'm tired just typing all of that rock action out.
Have a good weekend, y'all.
